Autumn wonders & wanders - Olympia Park

Once again, I am terribly behind in synching "blog" and "life". And as much as I have consciously been trying to make time, there just hasn't been any. Particularly as the weather has gotten simply glorious, and Linds and I have been trying to make the most of it.

I was a tad melancholie about the Summer fading away. And despite having had the first snow just a week after Wiesn ended (!!!), Autumn has taken up its cyclic role, and is reminding us every day, that although change, and things coming to an end is inevitable, something beautiful can always come of it. Like a city of vibrant golden hues, and the clearest light.

Since I haven't been managing my routine runs in the Olympia Park during the week, Linds and I decided to get our nature fix with a weekend wander through the park.

We were rather wishing we too could soar above the city and enjoy the view from above. But we would have to be satisfied with the view from the 'Olympia Berg'.

The view, all the way to the alps.

Pretty soon this is where the 'Winter Tollwood' (Festival) will be taking place again.
We kind of lost ourselves up there a little, gazing out at the horizon line. There's something very centering about that. However, Linds and I didn't quite get as lost as these two in our own perfect world, in fact, we were a teensy bit jealous...

We agreed that this would be a perfect date spot, and that we would quite appreciate being taken there by our respective Prince Charmings one day...Whenever they decide to turn up on their bloody horses and dazzle us of course!

Isn't that right Linds?! Yeeeaaahhh... :)

Until then, Autumn will just have to continue to dazzle us.
Happy Sunday!
Your truly,
